CONCLUDED THE ACTIONS IN THE ZAPARDIEL RIVER IN THE LOCALITIES OF LOMOVIEJO AND TORDESILLAS

After having been gradually converted into a mere drainage channel devoid of its natural morphology, its fluvial space and the biological communities that were its own, the CHD in 2019 addressed the restitution of the flow to the old river channel of the ZAPARDIEL river at its mouth to the Duero.

With this action, the recovery of its natural state and connection with the floodplain has been achieved, marking the river management line of the future: increasing its naturalness, generating socio-economic and ecological goods and services.

In order to publicize these actions, a small documentary has been made.
